You can still compare temperature and score in Conditions, using the temperature during play from weather data for the area.

• How the weather is shown: Your recorded weather and wind come first, and only what you did not record is filled in from weather data for the area. The weather data arrives one to two weeks after the round.

• AI and temperature: The temperature of a single round cannot tell how well you played, so the AI round review no longer mentions it. The AI caddie mentions temperature only when comparing many rounds shows a clear difference.

Auto-filled weather is a guide for where you are at that moment. Tap ⓘ to read a note that it may differ from the actual weather.

• Weather data: Temperature, wind speed and rain come from the date of the round and the course location (Copernicus ERA5-Land). They are counted separately from the weather and wind you record.

• Identifying holes: Which course you played on each nine is worked out from the course you chose and the par of each hole. Rounds that cannot be matched are left out of the per-hole stats.

• When comments appear: A comment appears only when the difference by condition or course feature is larger than your usual round-to-round swing. Course features are compared course by course, so one course's result is not read as the feature's.

• Sand saves: The share of greenside-bunker holes where you holed out within 2 shots from the bunker, counting the bunker shot. You are asked only on holes with one putt or fewer; holes with 2 or more putts count as misses.

Until now, unrecorded weather or OB was saved as "Sunny / Calm" or "0", so it looked the same as something you had recorded. Values the app filled in on earlier imports are now back to not recorded, and we fixed cases where a round you thought was saved only existed on one device.

• Saving to the cloud: A failed save sometimes showed nothing on screen, and one round that couldn't be sent kept your other rounds from reaching the cloud. Both are fixed, and rounds left on the device are sent the next time you open the app.

• Courses with two greens: The green you played is now recorded, and the 3-putt rate by grass type counts the round only for the grass you actually putted on.

• How comments read: Comments no longer show target numbers without a source, level labels such as "advanced", or causes your records can't show, and the stroke ledger and checklist in Score Deep Diagnosis now use only sourced comparisons.

• Strengths and weaknesses: Comments call a weather condition, course or nine a strength or weakness only when the gap is bigger than your normal round-to-round swings. Headings such as "Best Condition" now read as facts, like "Best average conditions".

• 9-hole rounds: Score and putting trends no longer line up 9-hole rounds with 18-hole ones, and rounds with putts recorded on only some holes are left out of the putting trend. This also fixes a 9-hole total counting as a recent best and triggering "breaking 90 is close".

• OB direction: Today's Discovery described the direction of missed fairways as the direction of your OBs. It now says what it measures, for example "of the tee shots that missed the fairway, X% went right".

• NTG comment: Once you have recorded enough NTG, the NTG section of the Short Game page shows a comment on that rate. It was calculated before but never shown.

• After a bogey: Today's Discovery described what happens after a bogey as "another bogey or worse". It now says "double bogey or worse", which is what it actually counts.

• Change in miss direction: If the way you miss the fairway changed between your earlier and later rounds, Tee Shot Analysis now says so and drops the comment about your overall lean.

• Tee-shot penalties: Penalties are now counted by tee shot like OBs, and the OB comments in Tee Shot Analysis count tee-shot OBs to match the chart.

• Left/right miss advice: Players who mostly missed left could still be told to fix misses to the right. When the left/right gap is within chance, comments no longer say you lean either way.

• Club names: Club names written differently, such as "7I" from an import and "7i" typed in, are now counted as the same club.

• Par 3 advice: Par 3 advice no longer tells you to take one more club; it now suggests a club that finishes in the middle-to-front of the green.

• Pin position and green speed: You can also see GIR and three-putt rates by recorded pin position, and average putts and three-putt rate by green speed.

• Approach advice: Approach advice appears only when you tend to miss long, suggesting you land the ball short of the pin. When you tend to miss short, we show the counts instead of telling you to hit it farther.

• Milestones: Milestones now include when your scoring level shifted, listed alongside your club changes. A shift is shown only when the change is bigger than your normal round-to-round swings.

• Chart dates: When your records span more than one year, chart dates now include the year.

• Rounds within a course: Round lists inside a course or course type start with your latest 10 rounds and show 50 at a time after you expand them.

• Export: Exporting CSV or PDF with nothing selected used to include every round regardless of the period filter. It now exports the rounds in the period you are viewing.

• Club Settings stats: The Club Settings page now counts every round for stats such as results before and after a bag change, regardless of the period filter.

The estimate starts from your current stats and is hypothetical. The per-row strokes now add up to the total.

• Handicap conversion: The handicap line now says "worse" when you move a slider the wrong way, and the conversion matches the score-to-handicap mapping we revised on October 5.

• Stats you haven't recorded: They no longer get a slider with a placeholder value.

Your handicap may come out higher than before. That's because we fixed the calculation, not because your game got worse.

• If you set a handicap goal: Your current value changes, so the gap to your goal changes too.

You can spot where a round fell apart without opening it. Use "Hide hole colors" on the round list to turn the colors off.

We also reworded comments that said more than the data could show.

• GIR benchmarks: Your GIR is now compared with golfers who average a similar score. If there is no benchmark for your average score, we don't say your GIR is low.

Calculations, comment wording and features are unchanged.

• Average lines on charts: Every average line on a chart is now a last-5-rounds average.

We fixed the dead end that appeared when a filter matched nothing, and aligned what Next move promises with where its button goes.

• Sample data periods: For sample data, “Last 3 Months” and similar options now count back from the sample's final round, and the period menu shows that date. Your own data still counts from today.

• Strokes by phase and par: The list used to show a unit-less total for the whole period, which could read like a per-round gain. It now shows roughly how many strokes per round you lose.

We reworked what score entry asks. Fields that have no answer on a given hole are gone, and one extra question appears only when you add an OB or choose Green side.

• How to enter the breakdown: With one OB or penalty, choose tee shot or later shot; with two or more, choose how many were tee shots. You can save without answering, and you can add it to past rounds from the edit screen.

• How the analysis page counts: Past OBs with no breakdown are still counted in full, later shots included, and the page notes how many those are. Because par 3s are now included, your OB count goes up if you have hit OB on a par 3.

We improved how your records are protected and made it easier to find help with payments. Signing out also changes how records stored in this browser are handled.

• Check your records before signing out: Signing out does not delete records already saved in the cloud. If you have rounds that may be unsynced, unfinished rounds, or course notes stored only on your device, we show their counts before clearing them. Cancel if you want to keep those records, then sync or export them first. A lost connection or an expired login session alone does not trigger this cleanup.

• Preventing duplicate subscriptions after a payment failure: If an existing subscription has an outstanding payment, we prevent another subscription from being created on top of it. Use "Payment methods & invoices" to check your existing subscription or update your payment method.

• Handling long waits for AI responses: We added a time limit to image reading and AI analysis, and revised timeout handling so usage can be restored when no result is returned. If some shot-detail images are read successfully, those results are kept and the request counts as one use.

• Clearer account deletion and data handling information: Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy now explain how to request account deletion from your registered email address, how long data is kept, and what information is sent to external services. They also clarify the difference between canceling a subscription and deleting your account.

Imported data can carry outdated pars. We list the holes that differ and let you choose between the current scorecard and the values in your file.

• Everything unclassified in course type analysis: With many courses, the lookup against our course data failed as a whole. Name variants such as operator tags are now treated as the same course.

• Average total yardage: Rounds without yardage are no longer mixed into the average.

Last time we reviewed only how the articles defined and calculated metrics, and left figures with a cited source untouched. This time we went to those sources and compared them.

• Benchmarks by skill level: Greens in regulation, putts per round and up-and-down rates have moved. Greens in regulation for a mid-90s golfer went from about 20% to 16%. Some benchmarks are tougher now, so your position may look different than it used to.

• Reference links: Many references named a specific article but linked only to the publisher's home page. We tracked down each page and linked to it directly.

The same double bogey came out red on your scorecard and orange in the chart, because each screen decided those colors on its own. Eagle through triple bogey or worse, six steps, are now decided in one place and mean the same thing wherever you see them.

• Readable in the light theme: In the light theme, an eagle sat on a white background with almost no contrast, so the number was close to invisible. All six steps now stay readable in both the light and the dark theme.

• Definitions and arithmetic in the articles: We went through every article and corrected how metrics were defined and calculated, from counting greens in regulation to estimating a handicap. Figures with a cited source were left as they are.

Recording a round and never getting back to the analysis is easy to do. If about a week passes and you haven't reopened the app, we'll email you that round's summary along with what went well and what to work on next. If you did come back, we don't send it.

• Post-round recap email: Sent only when about a week has passed without you reopening the app, and only once per round. It carries your score, putts, greens in regulation and fairways hit, plus one thing that went well and one thing worth your attention next. If you have earlier rounds, it also tells you how this one compares to your average and whether it beat your best. If you did reopen the app, the round detail page already shows you the same thing, so no email goes out.

• Email delivery settings: Profile now has an "Email delivery" section. You can stop every email, or just the post-round recap. The same links sit at the bottom of each email. Essential notices such as billing are not affected.

• Readable on a phone: Emails opened on a phone had narrow body text with wasted margins on both sides. They now use the full width of the screen. Questions are also routed to the in-app feedback form instead of email replies.

"What is NTG?" "Which shot counts as the approach?" — the detailed recording fields never explained themselves. We've now pinned down each definition and made it readable right where you record and review. Mobile polish is included too.

• NTG (Near The Green) explained and counted: NTG records whether you reached just short of the green (within roughly 20 yards) in regulation strokes. A narrow miss looks identical to a lay-up on the scorecard — NTG keeps that near-miss visible as an achievement. Holes hit in regulation are excluded automatically, with an inline note during input. The round scorecard now shows a subtotal (yes-count / eligible holes) with a plain-language definition, and a short-game insight about your NTG rate appears once you have enough data.

• Approach clearly defined: "Approach result" now records the first shot you played to get onto the green — any stroke number or distance, excluding par-3 tee shots. The definition appears as an input hint and a scorecard note.

• Putt distance is now judged by feel: First putt distance options changed from meter ranges to your own sense of the putt: "Short (one-putt range)", "Mid (two-putt range)", "Long (three-putt risk)". We also clarified that only strokes on the green count as putts.

• Plainer input mode names: "CSV" and "OCR" are now "File Import" and "Photo Import", and a truncated label on narrow screens was fixed.

• Easier movement between analyses: A one-time hint now tells you that analysis pages can be swiped left and right on mobile, and swiping forward past Course Comparison now reaches Benchmark as expected.

• Small polish: The skill radar axis is renamed to "GIR" to match what it measures, the glossary article gained an NTG entry, loading spinners were unified into the logo animation, and a daily-word overflow on mobile was fixed.

With over 600 articles, finding the one you want had become harder than it should be. Each category now has its own page, so you can start from the theme you care about. We also shortened a few detours on the way to signing up.

• Category pages: Each of the seven categories — Score Analysis, Score Improvement, Golf Knowledge, App Usage, Practice Methods, Gear & Equipment and Golfer Lifestyle — now has its own page, led by the article that works best as an entry point to that theme. You can also reach a category from the breadcrumb at the top of any article.

• Sign-up starts on the account creation screen: Previously, pressing "Start free" opened the login screen, leaving anyone without an account to hunt for a small "Sign up" link. Now the account creation screen opens directly, whether you arrive from the home page, an article or the demo, and the Google button reads "Sign up with Google". The separate "Log in" entry point is unchanged for existing members.

• Returning from sign-up no longer ends the demo: If you pressed "Start with my own data" while exploring the demo and then used the browser back button, the demo had already been discarded and you could not carry on looking around. The demo is now preserved so you can pick up where you left off.

• Reworked the note at the end of each article: The closing note now speaks to the question you are most likely to have after reading — how do my own numbers compare — and states up front how long signing up takes and that no card is required.

• Corrected conflicting figures between articles: Two different average putts-per-round figures were published for the same handicap band. They now follow the value from the article that cites its source.

We cleaned up the rough edges around signing in and signing up. Authentication emails now arrive in Golsco's own design (Japanese copy), and error messages on screen are clear and human-friendly.

• Authentication emails in Golsco's design: The sign-up confirmation, password reset and password-changed notification emails have been redesigned with Golsco branding and clear Japanese copy. Previously these arrived as the auth system's default English messages.

• Clearer error messages on auth screens: On the login, sign-up and password reset screens, failures could surface raw technical messages from the auth system. They are now translated into clear, situation-specific messages that never expose internal details.

Premium now offers an annual plan at ¥5,000 (tax included). Compared with ¥6,000 for twelve months on the monthly plan, that's two months free. Alongside this, the monthly plan price has been updated from ¥250 to ¥500 (tax included). Premium has grown a lot this spring — AI Caddie, the monthly stats report PDF, scorecard photo import (OCR) and course strategy notes — and the new price reflects what Premium delivers today. If you already subscribe, your price does not change automatically.

• Annual plan (¥5,000, tax included): You can now choose between monthly and annual billing on the upgrade page. The annual plan works out to about ¥417 per month — two months cheaper than twelve months of the monthly plan (¥6,000). You can cancel anytime, and Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

• Monthly plan pricing update (¥250 → ¥500, tax included): The Premium monthly plan is now ¥500 (tax included). Over the past months Premium has gained AI Caddie weakness diagnosis and improvement roadmaps, a monthly stats report PDF, automatic scorecard photo import (OCR) and course strategy notes. This update aligns the price with what Premium delivers today. Existing subscribers keep their current price — nothing changes automatically.

This update adds "Score Deep Diagnosis," a one-time purchase. It analyzes every round you have recorded and states, in a single sentence, what adds the most strokes to your score — a 16-page PDF report. It contains only aggregates the everyday screens never show, makes no predictions, and works purely from the facts in your records. We also polished the Premium stats report PDF.

• Score Deep Diagnosis (one-time, ¥1,500): A 16-page PDF report that identifies, in one sentence, what adds the most strokes to your score, built from every round you have recorded. It brings together views the everyday screens never show: a ledger of where you lose and earn strokes, a hole-by-hole profile of where your rounds get heavy across holes 1 through 18, the difference between your best day and your worst, and what your good-scoring days had in common. It makes no score predictions and works purely from the facts in your records. Once you have recorded five or more full 18-hole rounds, you can buy it from the "Score Deep Diagnosis" page in the app. Your PDF stays available for re-download, and as your records grow you can take another checkup.

• Preview the contents before buying: On the "Score Deep Diagnosis" page, you can preview the real document — generated from a fictional golfer's data — and a full 16-page sample PDF right there, so you can see exactly what you will receive before buying.

• An easier-to-read stats report PDF: Instead of downloading straight away, the Premium stats report PDF now opens in a new tab so you can view it first, and you can save it only when you want to. We added a "Month YEAR edition" label on the cover, so you can save them month by month and look back on how your game has changed. GIR (greens in regulation) is now included among the metrics.

This update focuses on making the Blog easier to read, along with small polish to the display. Key points, numbers, and steps within articles are easier to find, and the display on smartphones is more stable. The table of contents now follows along as you read, and handicap figures come with an average-score guide.

• Easier-to-read Blog articles: We organized the tiers, steps, and key numbers within articles using dedicated layouts. Color-coded tier ladders, numbered key points, tables that make the numbers stand out, and step-by-step sequences make it easier to find what you are looking for. We also revised the in-article charts to use a focused, single-color style that highlights the key point.

• Refreshed loading screen: The screen shown while a page is loading now uses a new design featuring the logo mark.

• Table of contents that follows along: When reading an article on desktop, the table of contents on the left now stays in view as you scroll. Even in long articles, you can always see where you are and how the whole piece is structured.

• Average-score guides next to handicap figures: Where an article mentions a handicap figure, we now add a guide for roughly what average score it corresponds to. Even if you do not know your own handicap, you can map the article's content to your own scoring level.

• Fixed a dark mode issue: Fixed an issue where the display could revert from dark mode to the normal theme when a page was reloaded.

• Fixed smartphone display issues: Fixed several display issues on smartphones, including clipped headings and overflowing numbers.

This release is a large update that refreshes the entire post-login experience with a new design. From the home screen to each analysis, score entry, and settings, we've made colors, type, and spacing consistent for a cleaner, easier-to-use app — same features, with a much more polished look and feel.

• A refreshed design across every screen: We've unified the design across every screen after you log in — the home, each analysis page, score entry, settings, and more. A shared sidebar and header (a slide-out menu on phones) makes moving between screens clearer.

• Home is now a dashboard: We rebuilt the home screen as a dashboard so you can see your recent rounds, insights, and next step all in one place.

• Clearer charts: We reworked the colors and layout of charts like score trends and distributions so numbers and patterns are easier to read. We also tidied up how green types (bent/korai), weekday vs. weekend, and par-3 direction views are shown.

• Cloud sync status: Cloud sync now shows its status, so you can tell when a sync to the cloud fails.

• Display fixes: We fixed several display issues, including clipped headings and layout glitches on mobile.

You can now bring rounds recorded on your golf GPS watch app straight into the app from its per-hole shot-detail screenshots. We've also fixed a couple of issues with display language and mobile input.

• Import from shot-detail screenshots: Just select your golf GPS watch app's per-hole "shot detail" screenshots — one per hole, up to 18 — and we read each shot's club and distance, the putt count, and the score, then register it as one round. You can review and edit the results on the spot, pick the course and date, and save. It's available as a separate option under "Photo Import," alongside scorecard photos.

• Display language fix: we fixed an issue where the screen could unexpectedly switch to English even while you were using the app in Japanese.

• Mobile input improvement: on iPhone Safari, tapping a score or other input field could zoom the screen in and leave it that way; this is now fixed.

This is a large update focused on the signed-in experience. From a cleaner layout to richer AI comments and stronger score entry, we revisited a wide range of areas.

• A cleaner signed-in layout and a rebuilt home: we tidied up the navigation so it's easier to find your way, and rebuilt the home screen. Score entry is now in one place, and a "resume round" banner appears so you can pick up where you left off even if you step away mid-round. We also unified feature names — for example "AI Caddie" and "Front/Back Analysis."

• Automatic insights and advice: each analysis page and "Today's Discovery" now automatically surfaces insights, tendencies, and improvement hints read from your scores and data.

• Choose the voice of AI comments: you can now choose the tone of AI comments — a warm Caddie or a concise, sharp Coach — and switch between them in settings.

• Stronger score entry: we added a "same as last time" one-tap to course selection and support for optional detailed inputs like putts and approach shots. A confirmation when you quit mid-round helps prevent accidental mis-records. And scorecard photo import can now be tried up to 3 times for free.

• Equipment data analysis: you can now see how changes to your club setting relate to your scores before and after.

• Benchmark, analysis improvements, and fixes: we added a "next level" guide for each skill band and an all-time view in Season Analysis. We also fixed several issues, including one where some analyses showed time-series data in reverse order.

This update is a big visual refresh. From the home page to each feature page and the Articles section, we've redesigned the whole site — and added password reset along the way.

• A refreshed design across the site: we redesigned the main pages — home, analysis features, Premium, and how-to. Information is better organized and easier to read and use on both phone and desktop.

• A revamped Articles section: we added search and a popular sort to the article list so it's easier to find what you're after. Each article now has a new layout with a table of contents, a reading-progress indicator, and clear visuals — making longer reads easier to follow. Articles also load faster.

• Password reset: if you forget your password, you can now reset it by email right from the login screen.

• Other refinements: we unified the header and footer, improved text rendering, and refreshed the login, contact, terms, and privacy pages with the new design.

This update gives your AI coach a major refresh and clears up a few issues for a smoother, more reliable experience.

• Smarter, more encouraging AI coaching: we overhauled your AI coach's advice. It now draws more on your past rounds and scoring trends to give clearer, more accurate, and more encouraging guidance — with wording that supports your goals rather than talking them down.

• Fixed club settings: we fixed an issue where your club settings could fail to save or display correctly. The clubs and distances you enter now stick more reliably.

• A more stable experience: we fixed an issue where the dashboard could freeze after a certain sequence of moving between pages. Now it loads smoothly no matter where you navigate from.

A big batch of shipped work, all in one drop. The tee filter and course-type analysis are especially useful for looking at your scores from a new angle.

• About the tee filter: we've back-filled each existing round with the "regular-equivalent" tee for the course you played. If you actually played a different tee (e.g. the back tee), open the round list → edit screen and adjust the tee field.

• Club settings: once registered, your clubs show up as quick-pick options during score entry. Need to swap clubs mid-round? Adjust via the bottom sheet without leaving the page.

• Course-type analysis: see at a glance which terrain dominates your round history and how the type changes your scoring averages.

• Small UI polish or a new chart — anything worth knowing about — will be logged on this page.
